Le traitement du glaucome consiste à réduire la pression intraoculaire jusqu’à un niveau permettant d’empêcher l’évolution de la neuropathie optique. La chirurgie est indiquée lorsque les traitements médicaux et/ou lasers sont insuffisants et/ou mal tolérés. Les nouvelles techniques micro-invasives de chirurgie du glaucome permettent d’accélérer la récupération visuelle et de réduire le risque de complications.
